Iberia Parish Recording Fees and Requirements

Iberia Parish recording fees are slightly above the standard state base. Current fees: 1-5 pages at $110; 6-25 pages at $210; 26-50 pages at $310; 51-plus pages at $310 plus $5 per additional page. Cancellations and partial releases cost $60. These fees are set locally and differ slightly from the standard Act 173 schedule. Under La. R.S. 13:844, all Louisiana parishes are authorized to set local recording fees within a permitted range.

Document formatting requirements apply to all Iberia Parish deed filings. Every document must have a 2-inch margin at the top of the first page and 1-inch margins on the bottom and sides. Type size must be at least 8 point. Paper must be 8.5 by 11 inches or 8.5 by 14 inches. Documents not meeting these requirements may be returned or subject to additional processing fees.
